260,000 new computers to be installed in schools throughout Chile Friday, 30 March 2007 The President of Chile, Michelle Bachelet, led a ceremony today to launch the new School Technology Policy, known as “Digital Route 2007-2010,” where she reported that approximately US$ 200 million would be spent to “install a total of 260,000 additional computers in our schools over the next three years.” Read more...
